Way of Life has launched its latest Build to Rent building – The Sessile – in Tottenham Hale, which is the operator’s largest development to date. The scheme offers well-considered design, services and amenities to create a contemporary and full-service rental offering.

The Sessile builds on Way of Life’s outstanding reputation of its neighbouring Build to Rent scheme – The Gessner, which opened in 2021. The development includes 310 homes – a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom Build to Rent apartments ranging from 473 to 1,269 sq ft. Apartments are available furnished or unfurnished, with prices starting at £1,995 for a studio.

First images of the amenity spaces show designs centred around resident wellness. The range of resident amenities include a fitness studio, gym, a yoga studio, an outdoor terrace and light-filled rooftop orangery with views over North London, private dining spaces with a full-service kitchen and back of house space for caterers, and a vinyl room with a curated record collection.

Residents also benefit from a regular cultural programme of events, which will include fitness classes hosted by wellbeing partners, regular talks and workshops with local creatives.

Using Way of Life’s dedicated platform, residents can manage viewings, the reservation process, their tenancy and their home once they have moved in, through one simple digital journey.

“The Sessile is our largest project to date with the most extensive amenity offering, reflecting how the space caters to every aspect of our residents’ lifestyles. Typical to the Way of Life approach to building homes, thoughtful design is weaved throughout the spaces. From the finishes in the apartments to the layout and materiality of amenity spaces that allow residents to use them as an extension of their home, adds another dimension to their life at The Sessile.”

Gavin Chetty, Brand Director, Way of Life

Residents are due to move in to The Sessile from July 2023. With several amenities on its doorstep, residents have access to a range of independent restaurants, culture and creativity. The scheme is near plenty of green space, and it overlooks Down Lane Park.

A variety of transport links offer The Sessile residents’ easy access to central London by tube, which is 15 minutes away. There are direct links to Stansted Airport by train, and the scheme has a connected bus station.

Way of Life will continue their Community Life initiative – the operator’s long-term commitment to supporting local neighbourhoods and shaping lasting change. The initiative allows residents, including those at The Sessile, to form meaningful connections and become part of the fabric of the neighbourhood by supporting and giving back to the local community.

“Our third-party offering is there for like-minded investors who would like to collaborate with us and utilise our industry expertise, technical platform and experience to create buildings that are more than just a sum of their parts for residents. It’s great to be part of another project utilising all of Way of Life’s skill set.”
