Watkin Jones has handed over Sienna House to M&G Real Estate following practical completion. The 166 home Build to Rent scheme in Sutton is the second development handed over by Watkin Jones to M&G Real Estate in June – following the recent successful delivery of the Thames Quarter Build to Rent scheme in Reading.
Sienna House will offer residents stunningly designed living spaces alongside a range of amenities – including a residents’ lounge, play area, co-working space for residents working from home, gym, cinema room, and a roof terrace with views over both central London and the Surrey Hills.
“It’s fantastic to have delivered another high-quality scheme that will be a brilliant home for hundreds of people. This really is the future of living, a highly sustainable building in an amazing location with superb amenities. I’m very proud of the consistent quality that our teams are delivering, following the completion of our scheme in Reading earlier in June.”
Richard Harris, Managing Director – Group Delivery, Watkin Jones
Developer Watkin Jones used modular techniques to build the Sienna House development. This allowed for approximately 70% fewer deliveries than traditional construction and significantly reduced the impact on both the environment and the local community.
“We’re very proud of the working relationship between M&G and Watkin Jones. The building is another great example of a high-quality scheme with brilliant amenities and the third Build to Rent building to be delivered by Watkin Jones for M&G in under a year.”
