Vertus’ 8 Water Street scheme opens its doors to residents

Vertus has opened its doors to 8 Water Street – welcoming the first residents to its new pet-friendly Build to Rent development.

Canary Wharf Group’s residential leasing arm – Vertus – has welcomed the first residents at its new pet-friendly building, 8 Water Street, Wood Wharf. The scheme is the second of Vertus’ Build to Rent developments – and the first to fully welcome domestic pets to stay overnight.

Designed by award-winning architecture firm Stanton Williams, 8 Water Street has a low-rise character, meaning residents have direct access to the surrounding verdant private gardens, boardwalks and soothing water of the dock. Residents will also be located adjacent to the upcoming floating pavilions of Water Square.

8 Water Street includes 174 homes – a mix of studios and one, two and three bedroom apartments – with prices ranging from £1,950pcm for a spacious studio, to £5,200pcm for a three-bedroom apartment. 

Each apartment is open plan and accentuates the natural light throughout, with floor to ceiling windows and either a terrace or balcony looking out over the boardwalks and water below. Apartments also feature wooden floors, high-specification appliances throughout and heated floors in the bathroom. The apartments have been furnished to an exceptional quality by Accouter Group of Companies.

They can also use the app to contact the concierge, request maintenance requirements and take advantage of the benefits and partnerships with retailers across the wider Canary Wharf estate.
