Membership organisation for Build to Rent and Single-Family Rental (SFR) – UKAA – is holding another of its innovative events on 2 November 2023, which will be focussed around the theme ‘BTR: The Transformative Value of Investing in Homes and Communities’.
The UKAA Annual BTR Conference and Awards will take place at Etc Venues, 133 Houndsditch, Liverpool St, London EC3A 7BX from 9am to 5.30pm, with the conference followed by networking drinks and a lively awards celebration.
With a focus on the recently announced theme, the event will also build on the themes of previous Annual Conferences and pledges made in line with the UKAA Manifesto 2023, including UKAA’s focus on excellence in Build to Rent and commitment to EDI and ESG across the sector.
Within the headline theme, the event will delve into four key topics: quality, customer and community, investment and policy and standards.
Six keynote sessions and 16 deep dive sessions will explore these topics in full, delivering an outstanding knowledge agenda at the Build to Rent sector’s premier annual event.

Open to both UKAA members and non-members, the conference is expected to attract upwards of 700 delegates, with over 500 companies represented. Over 20 exhibitors will also be present.
The 2023 UKAA Awards will take place from 6.30pm to 10pm. It will recognise individuals making significant contributions to the Build to Rent sector and outstanding customer experience.
There will be a Lifetime Achievement Award, recognising long-standing contribution to the Build to Rent sector, and a Rising Star Award, which will go to an individual who has shown great promise and outstanding development in the sector, while still at an earlier stage of their career.
The evening will also see the presentation of the inaugural Whole Life Costing awards, recognising the rapid rise of environmental criteria in the property sector is having a significant impact on investors investment decisions. Awards will be presented for leadership and innovation in the development phase, supply chain and operations.
