Property and construction company, Thomas & Adamson (T&A) announces the promotion of Heather Holbrook to Partner. Heather has been promoted after a decade at the company, which has included leading on some of the highest profile projects in T&A’s portfolio.
Glasgow-based, Heather first joined the firm in 2013 as a Graduate Quantity Surveyor and has played a key role in projects for clients including Tesco, Hammerson, Osborne+Co, Leonardo and Jaguar Land Rover over the years. She is currently leading the teams deliveringboth JPMC’s European Technology Hub on behalf of Osborne+Co and the transformation of Glasgow’s Met Tower into a digital and tech hub on behalf of Bruntwood SciTech.
Described as an exceptional member of the team and a prominent leader, Heather has also established herself as a mentor for students, trainees and younger staff – playing a part in inspiring and empowering the next generation.

Senior Partner Alastair Wallace welcomed Heather’s promotion, which he said was thoroughly deserved for a highly respected colleague.

The construction firm has also promoted Hamish Paterson to Director. Hamish joined the firm in 2005 as a Building Surveyor, progressing to Regional Director in 2021, before his new appointment as Director.
Partner Zander Muego welcomed the appointment and said Hamish’s vast experience and abilities will be a huge asset to the leadership team.
“Hamish has developed extensive knowledge and experience of the industry since he joined the business, and his dedication and contributions to T&A over the years have proved immeasurable.
