StarRez, Inc., a global leader in housing accommodation software solutions, proudly announces a major milestone as it has received its “Certificate of Assurance” for Cyber Essentials and is certified after rigorous technical testing for Cyber Essentials Plus, verifying the company’s safeguards against the highest risk cyber threats and demonstrate commitment to cybersecurity for their customers.

Over the last several years, there has been a heightened number of cyber-attacks across the UK Education sector. As a result, the UK Government launched the Cyber Essentials certification program to help institutions and the private sector find a consistent and standard way to remain secure. This certification demonstrates that the StarRez products are strong enough to protect against cyber threats.

The Cyber Essentials Plus certification, recorded by IASME Consortium (IASME) and audited by Cyberlock, demonstrates that StarRez has successfully implemented a robust set of cybersecurity controls to mitigate the risk of common cyber threats. By adhering to these industry-recognised standards, StarRez not only fortifies its internal systems but also ensures the confidentiality and integrity of the data entrusted to its care by members of their customer community.

StarRez continues to invest in cutting-edge technology and best practices to stay ahead of emerging cyber threats and to uphold continually higher standards of data security. The company remains steadfast in its mission to empower educational institutions with secure, efficient, and innovative housing solutions.
