The Charter Build to Rent scheme in the heart of Gravesend, Kent is part of an £82m investment and pioneering partnership between Rosherville (Gravesham Borough Council’s property company) and developers Reef. 

The scheme is due to complete in September 2023. Over the next few months, Rosherville is looking to secure the services of a top rated management provider to lead on the marketing/letting of this catalyst development. 

The Charter will deliver 242 Build to Rent apartments. The project is part of the exciting regeneration of Gravesend town centre and one in a series of transformative, place-led projects in progress or in the pipeline on the town’s riverside. The scheme has been developed by a high-class multi-disciplinary team and is being delivered by contractors, Henry.

The Charter will set the benchmark for quality and sustainable homes in Gravesend town centre, helping to support the borough’s ambition to be net zero by 2030. The scheme will provide an ‘Art of Living’ offer, with a mix of spacious apartments and generous shared indoor and outdoor spaces – including roof terraces, courtyard gardens, lounges, concierge and a library.

Rosherville is looking for a partner that has a track record of quality delivery and service, who will work collaboratively and bring a wealth of social value to The Charter and the wider community. This will be a competitive tender, with the Invitation to Tender provided to prospective providers (at least three) at the discretion of Rosherville.
