Property management firm Ringley Group has announced that it has appointed Richard Williams as its new Chief Executive Officer. As a former CBRE board member and Managing Director (MD) of Avison & Young, Richard will continue to improve the growth strategy of the thriving operational and asset management group.

With over 12 billion assets and over 15,000 homes under management, Richard will bring his experience in commercial asset management to the Group.

“Technology and innovation has been a key to the growth of Ringley Group. Many of my existing commercial clients are investing in various residential investments, including students, later living, and hotels, and certainly need agile property and asset managers supported by great technology and people, which has been missing in the mixed-use and commercial arena.”

Richard carries over 30 years of experience across all real estate asset classes in the UK, with an in-depth knowledge of all property industry sectors. His expertise is spread across investors, commercial, surveying and valuation.

In addition to Richard’s appointment, Mary-Anne Bowring, who has taken Ringley from a small property company to employing over 200 people, will move up to Group Managing Director.

“We have always believed in investing in technology to create innovative solutions to property management. This has led us to work with many clients from significant blue-chip companies to smaller companies requiring strategic and professional advice. Richard brings 30 years of experience across all real estate asset classes, which will enhance our service to our clients.”

The Ringley Group will continue to harness technology to add value to residential property management, including the rapidly growing Build to Rent sector. Recently, the Group also announced the launch of Una Living – its third-party asset management and operating partner for living sector asset owners. Other sectors include the Camden co-working space, which is 100% occupied with a further building in the pipeline.

The company’s investment in Virgin Land, which uses an innovative platform to source land opportunities, has attracted small and large developers. This year, the commitment to its people led Ringley to win the prestigious Investors in People Gold Award.
