Build to Rent scheme, Duet is one of real estate private equity fund manager Moorfield’s award-winning More. ‘Superenting’ developments. Moorfield is known as a vanguard investor in emerging sectors, because it pioneers investment in student accommodation, Build to Rent and senior living.
The purpose-built rental development is on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal in Salford. Resident reviews rated the building on design, facilities, location, value and management, which achieved the highest overall score of 4.87 out of 5.

A joint architecture and interiors team from architects Sheppard Robson was responsible for Duet’s design. Duet offers residents a range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, which are all pet-friendly. Amenities include a private gym, residents’ lounge and coworking space, which earned the building a review rating of 4.9. Residents also rated the building management – the 24-hour concierge, resident services and security teams – which achieved a near-perfect 4.95 rating.

Duet is located within the city’s MediaCityUK district, also home to the BBC and ITV. Resident reviews of the building earned it a score of 4.95 for its location because of its local amenities, which include 15 bars and restaurants, four shopping outlets, six leisure facilities, a cinema, a theatre and a nursery.
