Telford Homes has announced that it has received a resolution to grant planning consent for a site on International Way in Stratford, London. The site is currently owned by LCR, The Department for Transport and HS1 Ltd. The site is located adjacent to Stratford International station and the Westfield shopping centre.
In accordance with a conditional contract exchanged in 2019, the site will be acquired by Telford Homes once full legal planning permission is issued.
The development will include 380 new homes – of which 247 will be Build to Rent apartments and 133 affordable homes. There will also be office and commercial space.
The scheme will also include an extensive communal amenity space – including a resident’s lounge, terrace and gym. Enabling works will commence later this year with completion expected in 2025.
