Nick Hammond, Head of Build to Rent at deverellsmith and Ian Fletcher, Director of Policy at the British Property Federation have revealed the DNA behind a Build to Rent resident in a podcast episode of A New Lease of Life.
The Who lives in Build to Rent report is Ian’s second publication and unveils data, analysis, key findings and expert commentary on the sector and its customers. The report analyses 89 schemes in England totalling over 20,000 residents in over 15,000 homes. The urban component of the data, constituting 15,887 residents, 12,404 homes across 49 schemes was benchmarked with tenants in the PRS, finding that it has a similar resident profile across income, profession, age and affordability.
