Park Central West Build to Rent scheme at Elephant Park in zone one of central London has opened its doors to residents. The scheme’s goal is to provide a standard of renting and service not previously seen in the UK.
The new homes will be the first to be delivered through a partnership between Lendlease and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) – targeting investment of £1.5bn in the sector. The partnership will feature over 900 new Build to Rent homes at Elephant Park, which is a £2.5bn regeneration project where thousands of new homes are being delivered by Lendlease in partnership with Southwark Council.
Inspired by the timeless beauty of industrial era design, the art-deco sophistication of Park Central West provides a wealth of amenities. Every apartment has a private terrace or balcony with views of the iconic London skyline. There is also a highly trained on-site team available to provide a world-class service to residents.
Amenities at Park Central West include a 24-hour gym with cardio, free weights, kettlebells and a classic water-powered rowing machine, concierge service on-hand 24/7, a co-working lounge, cinema screening room, private dining room with kitchen and lounge, private garden at the podium level with outdoor seating and lush landscaping, games room with pool table and arcade-style games, and tailored monthly resident events and activities.
With an ethos of ‘service is our signature’, residents will benefit from the very highest levels of service – which include a 24-hour maintenance guarantee. A skilled and professional team will be on hand to deal with any issues and a resident portal will contain helpful information, tips and tricks about everything in the new homes.
With many people having caught the ‘interior bug’ while spending more time at home, every apartment can be personalised to residents’ tastes and needs. Residents are free to paint their walls and hang pictures – and the scheme is pet-friendly.
Located in the heart of south London’s newest restaurant and retail district and with a new 2.5-acre park on the doorstep, Park Central West is yards from an impressive line-up of ground floor retailers and restaurants that were carefully curated with the desires of their new residents in mind. The building is also a short walk from the National Rail line and Bakerloo & Northern line – so residents are minutes away from Southbank, the West End, and the City of London.
With a wider regeneration of Elephant & Castle still underway, the area is expected to become one of the capital’s most vibrant destinations for living and working – with a world-class combination of art, music and culture on its doorstep. Elephant & Castle will also see the opening of a new multi-screen cinema, a new building for the University of the Arts London, a library and exhibition space and new office spaces.
Apartments include a mix of spacious studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments which are now ready for residents to move in. Each apartment features a private balcony or terrace, underfloor heating throughout, floor-to-ceiling windows, wood flooring throughout, a full suite of modern black integrated Grundig appliances, and roller shades with black outs in the bedrooms.
“At a time when people are making big decisions about how they want to live in the future, we believe we can provide them with a community that is attuned to their desires. Our apartments and amenities were all designed to fit the lifestyle our customers want, and our onsite teams are trained to a service standard not previously seen in the UK market. Elephant & Castle is the perfect location for Park Central West as it is one of central London’s most exciting neighbourhoods and we’re proud to welcome residents to this new thriving community.”
