The construction of the new, modern and sustainable residential tower – OurDomain Rotterdam Blaak – in the Netherlands has reached its highest point. The development is located right next to the André van der Louw Bridge and the Willem de Kooning Academy in the city centre of Rotterdam, ha.

The slender, 24-storey, 70-metre-high residential tower is being built in a unique location – at one of the last building plots in the city centre where no new construction has been carried out since the bombing in May 1940.

OurDomain Rotterdam Blaak includes 612 modern and comfortable homes in the complex – a mix of studio and one-bedroom apartments, providing a connected way of living. Rentals will start in June this year, with delivery scheduled for the first quarter of 2022.

The residential scheme is targeted at young professionals and students and includes a range of amenities – including a lounge and game room, high speed internet, a service desk and study and workspaces, with more in the pipeline yet to be revealed.

OurDomain Rotterdam Blaak is an investment by international developer, investor and manager – Greystar – and developed by Stebru and BOAG (now transferred to Drees & Sommer Netherlands). The design is by Tangram Architekten.

Stebru is responsible for the construction, and Drees & Sommer provide process management and quality assurance during development and realisation on behalf of Stebru. Greystar will take over the operation of the homes after completion.
