Hove Food Trail, which celebrates the vibrant and varied food and drink brands in Hove’s ever-growing dining destination, is set to launch next month. It is being supported by headline sponsor Moda Living, a Build to Rent developer operators whose Moda, Hove Central neighbourhood is due to open later in the year.
Founded by David Toscano, owner of restaurant brand Cin Cin, and Chris Henry, Brighton & Hove’s City Councillor 2019 – 2023, the Trail will take place between Thursday 6 to Saturday 8 July 2023. Tickets start from £15 plus booking fee.
The Trail will raise money for Off The Fence, a Hove-based charity that specialises in restoring the lives and hopes of the homeless, women in difficulty and vulnerable children across Brighton & Hove.
“The Hove Food Trail brings together everything there is to love about Hove; our community and the people within it. It is this value which we see prominent across all Moda Living activity and something we also support. The event will offer all the chance to experience the best restaurants Hove has to offer, all for a spectacular cause.”Peter Kyle, MP
The Hove Food Trail offers the opportunity to explore the city, sampling exclusive plates from the finest restaurants in town. The Trail includes ten restaurants – Cin Cin, Nostos, Wild Flor, Slam Tacos, Fatto a Mano, Fourth & Church, Fika, Carne and The Ginger Pig, before wrapping up at Rockwater.
“The 2023 Hove Food Trail will showcase the best Hove has to offer as a dining destination. Since we opened Cin Cin on Western Road in 2018, the food and drink offering in Hove has got better and better year on year, so now is the perfect time to bring it all together in one event to support our community. We can’t wait to share the best of Hove with everyone and raise much needed funds for Off The Fence along the way.”David Toscano, Founder of Cin Cin and Hove Food Trail
Moda Living’s Moda, Hove Central neighbourhood is due to open later in the year. With a strategy that doubles down on Moda’s commitment to social and environmental sustainability for the long term, the company aims to create the happiest and healthiest communities where its Build to Rent schemes are located. The Hove Food Trail aligns perfectly with this.
“At Moda Living we’re on a mission to create the happiest and healthiest communities in the UK, with great food, wonderful company and exciting neighbourhoods to explore all playing a major role. As a long-term neighbour to our surrounding communities, we’re also committed to partnering with, and working alongside, local independent businesses. The Hove Food Trail aligns perfectly with all these values, and we can’t wait for people to discover the incredible restaurants and talented chefs being showcased in the local area.”Lydia Eustace, Marketing Director, Moda Living
Earlier this year, Moda Living also unveiled a public arts plan for Moda, Hove Central, which draws on the area’s history to deliver a vibrant and welcoming new area for the Hove community.
