Moda Group positions for growth with key new hires

Moda Group makes a series of key new appointments to support the company’s expansion in its rental operations.

Developer and operator of rental communities – Moda Group – announces key appointments to support the company’s expansion in its rental operations, as it structures opposite the market through 2024 and beyond.    

Moda has implemented two new senior management boards across development and operations, which will work with the Executive board to drive day to day performance and enhance corporate governance and reporting.  

To support leasing activities at Moda’s UK-wide operational neighbourhoods, with a further five schemes coming online in 2024, Craig Allden joins the company as Head of Leasing. He previously spent over four years at Quintain overseeing their estate.

Luke Scott also joins Moda as a Project Director to support the delivery of key neighbourhoods across Edinburgh, Birmingham and London. Luke previously worked on The Dorchester, Admiralty Arch and Jumeriah Carlton London hotels.

Wellbeing and sustainability are key brand foundations and sit at the heart of everything Moda does, so they are pleased to welcome their first dedicated ESG Manager, Tarry Depledge, who joins the team after several high-profile roles including ITM Power and Paragon Banking.  

David Sinclair also joins the company as Head of Technology. He will spearhead the operational digital infrastructure, having previously designed and built digital operating systems at companies such as The Collective and Impala. 

Moda has also made an appointment to lead the company’s PBSA brand experience on its forthcoming student platform.

These new appointments come as Moda is due to deliver and mobilise a further c. 2,500 homes throughout 2024 across multifamily and single-family Build to Rent. It also follows the launch of Moda 2.0 – a brand-new consumer website and the company’s first corporate website, which showcases their range of platforms to residents, investors and key stakeholders.

The single-family Build to Rent homes division of Moda Group – Casa by Moda – recently completed the first phase at Casa, Vista Park in Glasgow. The company’s new Build to Rent neighbourhoods – Moda, Hove Central on the south coast, Moda, Holland Park in Glasgow and the first phase of Moda’s New Garden Square masterplan in Birmingham – are also set to launch in early 2024.
