The London Home Show – taking place tomorrow (18 September 2021) at Queen Elizabeth II Centre, Westminster, was originally established for developers to showcase their new homes.

The show has since evolved and seen the growth of housing associations exhibiting their shared ownership product. As the Build to Rent sector continues to grow at speed, Love to Rent will be the first ever exclusive Build to Rent exhibitor at this year’s show.

“We are committed to raising the profile of quality, secure renting and ensuring that customers are aware of all the choices available to them when looking for a new home. We are delighted to be bringing this option to The London Home Show and making noise that there is another choice when looking for your first home.”

Peter Sloane, Chair, Love to Rent

Love to Rent is the only online portal exclusively designed to market Build to Rent developments and aims to create an established marketplace for rental homes that customers can have confidence in.

In recent years there has been an unprecedented change in how customers view their homes, with a clear shift towards lifestyle, location, outdoor space, security, flexibility, and the added benefit of having a pet and being part of the community.

“Build-to-rent homes are transforming what it means to rent in the UK. From co-working spaces to 24-hour concierges, as well as providing more stability with longer-term tenancy agreements, Build to Rent customers benefit from the highest quality of design, services and facilities.

“The number of Build to Rent homes in the UK is growing at pace, and we look forward to Love To Rent showcasing these homes at the London Home Show so that our capital’s renters become better informed about the choices available to them and why renting can be a superior option for those looking for their next home.”

Ian Fletcher, Director of Real Estate Policy, British Property Federation

Love to Rent’s presence at The London Home Show marks another significant step forward for the industry – and a fantastic opportunity to make noise about Build to Rent schemes, showing customers that there are other rental options available.

“This is an excellent marketplace to showcase what Build to Rent has to offer and I am delighted to see Love to Rent championing the sector. I am confident that it will be a success in providing much needed customer awareness about the choice of quality homes available and the lifestyle options that Build to Rent homes offer.”
