Single family Build to Rent homes to be delivered by Leaf Living, who have made three new appointments as it scales up operations.

Specialist provider of professionally managed new-build rental housing in the UK – Leaf Living – announces several key appointments to its senior management team. The new hires come as the company seeks to deliver on its ambitious growth plans this year. Launching the Build to Rent platform in late 2021, the portfolio will consist largely of new-build, market-rate, single-family houses.

Leaf Living has made three new hires who will all be focussed on delivering its growing development pipeline, working in strategic partnerships with housebuilders to develop high-quality new-build single family housing. 

Tom Price has joined the team as Delivery Director, having previously worked as Head of Project Management for Build to Rent developer, Platform_, where he oversaw the team responsible for the delivery of all development schemes. This included over 1000 Build to Rent units under construction and over 600 units in pre-planning and pre-construction. Tom brings with him 18 years of project management experience and is Association of Project Management Practitioner Qualified (APMP IMPA Level D).

Chris Roberts will be joining Leaf Living from Vastint UK, where he was Head of Property Management. Chris worked as the strategic and operational lead for the management of over 3,500 new properties across the country. He has also worked for some of the country’s largest housebuilders – including Taylor Wimpey and Countryside.

Tiffany Harrison joins the business as Head of Lettings. Previously, she was the Head of Lettings and Marketing for privately rented homes at L&Q, where she successfully launched and stabilised several large PRS developments. Tiffany has several years of experience in the strategic and operational management of a portfolio of over 5,000 units.

Leaf Living was established in March 2021 by investment partners Blackstone and Regis Group. Regis is the experienced real estate platform creator behind Sage Housing which is also funded by Blackstone, the world’s largest alternative asset manager, and whose committed pipeline includes over 20,000 units and over £3bn invested across over 400 sites around the country. Sage also recently announced ambitious plans to deliver 30,000 new affordable homes by 2030, an increase of over 10,000 new affordable homes compared to its previous commitment 

Leaf Living is focused on working with construction partners to deliver high-quality, new-build single family Build to Rent housing, providing industry expertise and competitive funding arrangements. The business also provides an ability to partner with Sage Housing to acquire s106 units, thereby enabling the disposal of the entire scheme.
