Leaf Living, a specialist provider of professionally managed new-build rental housing, has launched in the UK. The venture provides a new Build to Rent platform for developing and operating rental houses across the country.

Leaf Living’s portfolio will consist largely of new-build, market-rate, single-family houses – helping to meet market demand for high-quality and flexible family housing options, as well as bring significant long-term investment into the sector. The company’s initial goal is to invest over £1bn into the sector and deliver over 5,000 homes to help meet the demand for flexible housing options across the country.

Houses are also being built in line with the latest sustainability standards – and with a minimum EPC B rating target.

“Leaf Living will give people the opportunity to rent high quality, professionally managed modern houses. We are already working with house builders across the country and look forward to financing the creation of much needed new housing. Residents will be at the heart of Leaf Living, which will provide houses in places where people want to live and on terms that suit all renters.”

Will Montague, Acting CEO, Leaf Living

Leaf Living is a joint venture formed by funds managed by Regis Group and Blackstone. The two firms already work together to deliver high-quality housing in the UK through Sage Housing, a leading provider of affordable housing in the UK. Over £3bn has been invested to date, creating a committed portfolio of over 20,000 affordable homes across the country.
