Property consultancy Knight Frank appoints David Goatman as Global Head of Energy and Sustainability Services. David is currently Head of Energy, Sustainability and Natural Resources EMEA and has been with Knight Frank for over 13 years.

The new role will allow the company to ambitiously grow its Energy and Sustainability Services (ESS) teams in eight global locations over the next two years. Alongside this expansion, the recent appointment of Hannah Awonuga as Group Head of DE&I further exemplified the firm’s ESG commitments.

“I am delighted to be taking on this new role and overall responsibility for our global Energy and Sustainability products, services and strategy. The level of client demand we are seeing for these services across our global platform is unprecedented and it is absolutely right for us to be expanding at this time. We already have some very strong Energy and Sustainability teams around the world and it is hugely exciting to be able to support our clients with these services in new global locations.”

Knight Frank is committed to make a significant investment to grow its global service offering. The expansion aligns with clear and compelling client demand for ESS, with the firm winning numerous mandates from global clients as they help businesses navigate the path towards Net Zero.

“The greatest challenge facing the global real estate industry is climate change and the pathway to net zero. As a global business it is crucial that we support our clients on this journey with a range of high-quality advisory services. David has successfully grown our UK Energy and Sustainability business over a number of years and I am very pleased that he has taken on this global role.”
