Cyclists from across the UK will hop on their bikes at UKREiiF next week to raise money for charity in the official UKREiiF Sportif.

Raising funds for Yorkshire Children’s Charity, on 23 May, the cycling event will take riders through the stunning Yorkshire countryside. 100% of the entry fee and donations will go directly to Yorkshire Children’s Charity, which is working hard to ensure no child or young person is left behind due to ill health, disability or financial circumstance.

Starting at Harrogate Rugby Club, the ride has three different routes to cater to different ability levels, with anyone on any bike welcome to participate.

The shortest 25km route will take riders on a spin around quiet lanes surrounding Harrogate. A 70km and 90km route will take riders into Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

Entry to UKREiiF Sportif will also include pre-ride networking, a refueling stop with snacks, sports nutrition and water, and gourmet street food at the finish line.

“We are so excited to be the beneficiaries of this event, and immensely grateful to the riders and businesses joining us to take in the famous Yorkshire countryside while raising money for the county’s most vulnerable children, as well as our kind sponsors. Last year’s Sportif was a huge success, and we can’t wait to welcome riders back again.”

Charlotte Farrington, Founder and CEO, Yorkshire Children’s Charity

Yorkshire Children’s Charity support children and young people across Yorkshire living at a disadvantage, be that due to sickness, disability or financial deprivation.

Funds raised at the Sportif will go towards the charity’s next Great Yorkshire Build project, transforming the facilities of a SEND school, not only for its pupils now but for generations to come.
