Residential developer HUB, who focuses on Build to Rent, announces the promotion of Victoria Manston to the role of Development Director. In her new role, Victoria will oversee the full development process across several of HUB’s major projects, as the developer continues to grow its portfolio across the UK.

“I’m thrilled to have been promoted to the role of Development Director at HUB where we have a fantastic track record of delivering great places. I am looking forward to working on new projects in our pipeline that will see us raise the bar even further in terms of social value, sustainability and design quality – all things about which I am passionate.”

Victoria joined HUB in 2020 as Development Manager. A fully qualified town planner, Victoria played a pivotal role across multiple projects – including a major new Build to Rent development in Leeds, and a mixed-use town centre development in Maidenhead, which secured a £155m funding deal in Q4 2021. Victoria has been instrumental in driving HUB’s community engagement initiatives, which includes developing strategies for digital engagement, helping to access harder-to-reach communities.

“Victoria has played an integral role in the growth and success of HUB since she joined us three years ago. She has been a driving force in helping us achieve planning consents and delivering complex multi-phase schemes. This is a hugely exciting time for HUB as we continue to expand our pipeline across the UK, and we hope to further bolster our leadership team as we move forward.”

Victoria’s promotion follows the recent hire of Rory Martin, a Land Acquisition Manager, who joins to help the HUB team identify and acquire new sites across the UK. The business is also currently recruiting for two new Development Managers to help deliver its ambitious pipeline.

Established in 2012, HUB has over 5,500 homes completed or under development across the UK. The developer is known for developing one of London’s first institutionally backed Build to Rent schemes, The Rehearsal Rooms in North Acton. HUB’s current Build to Rent projects include The Landing mixed-use scheme in Maidenhead, a Build to Rent scheme and creative hub in Canonmills, Edinburgh, which secured planning permission in Q4 2022, the regeneration of a six-acre site in Digbeth, Birmingham, which secured planning permission in late 2020, and the creation of 951 homes to the west of Leeds city centre.
