Real estate investor, developer and manager Greystar Real Estate Partners LLC recently hosted a gala dinner in support of partner charity KIDS. In a night of fundraising for a great cause, the black-tie event was attended by professionals across the real estate industry.

Entertainment at the event included a performance from well-known comedian and actor Katherine Ryan. Thanks to ticket sales, an auction and raffle, the night raised £185,000 for KIDS, which was boosted to £220,000 thanks to the Big Give campaign.

“It was brilliant to see so many familiar faces all gathered to raise as much money as possible for KIDS. This wouldn’t have been possible without everyone who contributed and the Greystar Charity Committee who managed to pull off an incredible event. We are very fortunate to partner with a charity like KIDS, whose invaluable work makes such a huge difference to the lives of so many.”

The gala dinner event was designed and produced by Bespoke London with a drink’s reception sponsored by caterers Caper & Berry. The event was organised with Greystar’s ESG strategy in mind, which meant all the suppliers used showed a similar commitment to ESG. Floral arrangements from the event were donated to local organisations, and any leftover food was donated to a charity.

“I want to give my heartfelt thanks to Greystar and to everyone who joined us for such an incredible evening and gave so generously to raise funds to help support children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities and their families. Last year KIDS supported over 18,000 disabled children, young people and families but there are many more people who need our help. With over 2 million children and young people with disabilities in the UK, and families constantly facing new challenges, the continued support we receive from Greystar is invaluable and the donations from everyone who attended this incredible event will help us to be there for even more families in the future.”
