Grainger officially launches The Mint BTR in Guildford

With the goal to create a community, Grainger plc has launched The Mint Build to Rent development in Guildford.

Private rental home provider Grainger plc has announced that it has launched its first Build to Rent development in Guildford, The Mint. The 98-apartment development contains a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom fully furnished apartments, and aims to pay homage to the home of The Royal Mint between 978AD and 1158 – Guildford.

Apartments at The Mint offer a modern take on herringbone pattern and gold detailing, a nod to ancient coinage. The scheme comes with high sustainability credentials with all energy efficient homes carrying an EPC B rating.

Amenities at The Mint include a resident’s lounge, a media room complete with a 65-inch TV and Sonos sound system, a gym, and co-working spaces – providing flexible and sociable spaces for remote working. The sixth-floor benefits from an external roof terrace with plenty of space for exercise, a giant chessboard, seating areas, plus a variety of hedges, trees, and shrub planting around the perimeter of the building.
