Construction firm GRAHAM has been nominated in two categories at The CN Awards: ‘Company Innovation of the Year’ and ‘Project of the Year (£20m-£50m)’ for the Pall Mall Press Build to Rent development and Audley Wycliffe Park.

The company highlights that innovation requires creativity, opportunity, courage and execution. GRAHAM has delivered on these by harnessing leadership support with the enthusiasm of those working on the firm’s projects.

GRAHAM were inspired by the successful NASA Tiger Team who brought Apollo 13 back to earth by bringing teams of specialists together to work collaboratively on specific challenges. The firm evidence benefits and improvements, ensuring shared continuous learning within GRAHAM and the wider industry.

“This innovative approach produces better outcomes, drives productivity, enhances value, creates new opportunities and delivers better infrastructure for our clients – leaving a lasting impact for the society which we serve.”

Emer Murnaghan, Innovation Director, GRAHAM

GRAHAM has been nominated for the ‘Project of the Year (£20m-£50m)’ category for the Pall Mall Press development. The completed Pall Mall Press scheme is Liverpool’s largest completed residential development since 2021. Designed by Falconer Chester Hall, the Ridgeback Group scheme is managed by its in-house operating platform ila.

Spanning 282,617 sq ft, it is a 22-storey Build to Rent residential tower comprising 336 modern and sustainable apartments, retail space and a private garden terrace.

The development signifies a transformative addition to Liverpool’s skyline, delivering much-needed Build to Rent housing that has been designed to seamlessly integrate into the urban environment.

“This project showcases GRAHAM collaboratively working with our client, project teams and supply chain partners to deliver construction excellence. Pall Mall Press is another significant addition to our Build to Rent portfolio in the Merseyside region.”

Peter Reavey, Regional Director, GRAHAM

Following Pall Mall Press is GRAHAM’s Audley Wycliffe Park. This development has been recognised by The CN Awards for allowing residents to live an independent lifestyle in a high-quality, secure, living and leisure environment.

It provides 156 accessible later-living apartments across five blocks within a 25-acre site, complemented by extensive landscaping in a countryside setting. The development’s central clubhouse, at the heart of the new community, puts residents’ wellbeing at the top of the agenda.

Wycliffe Park is one of three Audley villages GRAHAM has constructed, demonstrating a strong relationship built on trust, confidence and results.

“Wycliffe Park benefits the older generation by providing them with suitable, comfortable homes in integrated retirement communities with communal facilities and onsite services. GRAHAM is playing a key role in delivering these projects, that will in turn ease pressure on the care sector and free up suitable housing stock for younger families.”

Pat O’Hare, Regional Director, GRAHAM

The next stage of the awards involves a 15-minute presentation followed by a ten-minute Q&A session with the judging panel in May. Winners will then be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 11 July at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London.
