UK property developer Godwin Developments announces it has made a senior appointment to bolster its deliver team. The appointed, Steven Gascoyne, is a highly experienced construction and consultancy professional, who is joining the company as Associate Director – Construction.
With a career spanning 25 years in a wide range of sectors – from residential and leisure to industrial and logistics – Steven has in-depth knowledge and extensive hands-on experience in construction delivery. He will assume responsibility for some of Godwin’s largest construction projects across the country, working closely with the business’s in-house teams and a broad range of external property partners and consultants nationwide. He will be based at the company’s Birmingham head office, where he will be reporting to Construction Director Michael Jones – who was appointed last year.

Prior to joining Godwin, Steven worked as Operations Director of Mace, where he was part of their Cost and Commercial Practice Group senior leadership team; leading a team of 25 quantity surveyors and responsible for the Birmingham office’s cost management offer. He was most recently acting for Jaguar Land Rover as Project Director on one of the largest logistics schemes on site in the UK.
