Furnishing provider launches inaugural scheme at Europe’s largest regeneration project

Build to Rent furnishing provider - Creative BTR - has announced the launch of its inaugural project at Knight Dragon’s Greenwich Peninsula.

Furnishing provider – Creative BTR – has launched its inaugural project at Knight Dragon’s Greenwich Peninsula. The newly launched company which is a sister organisation of Lucarna Design has delivered interior furnishings for 191 Build to Rent homes at one of Europe’s largest regeneration projects.

Spanning 150 acres and wrapped in 1.6 miles of the River Thames, Greenwich Peninsula will deliver 15,000 new homes, 13,000 new jobs and a host of culture-led and social spaces across seven new neighbourhoods. The specialist Build to Rent operator has kitted the entirety of Knight Dragon’s No.4 Upper Riverside, a collection of homes ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments.

The bespoke furniture has been sourced from different locations abroad. With a theme inspired by minimalistic, Scandinavian influences, Creative BTR’s design approach reflects the signature style for which Greenwich Peninsula has become renowned.

Since the company’s arrival in January 2020, a project of this scale marks the next step in their rapid growth. It comes following the appointment of Charlie Olpin as Managing Director and Julian D’Arcy as Chairman, whose 25-year career includes roles within the UK Government’s Private Rented Sector taskforce and Knight Frank’s Residential Development and Investment Division, where he was a founding member.
