Build to Rent operator Fresh launches Verse, a Build to Rent scheme offering a collection of modern new apartments and a range of resident amenities, housed in a striking new 15-storey building in the heart of Cardiff city centre. The pet friendly scheme will welcome residents from Summer 2023.

Verse homes include studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, and combines contemporary style and comfort with an excellent range of all-inclusive, hotel-style social spaces. Apartments are designed to offer residents the flexibility – subject to prior approval – to paint and decorate their homes.

Verse residents receive complimentary membership to the Belong Residents’ Club, which offers them access to amenities and a regular programme of social events – including summer socials with drinks and live music, sushi making classes and book clubs. A dedicated Residents’ Team is also available to offer support to residents, and a maintenance service can be booked via the Residents’ App.

Amenities at Verse include an outdoor deck with BBQ grill, a state-of-the-art gym with personal trainers that can be booked for an additional cost, classes, and a lounge area which includes a games area with a pool table and shuffleboard. Co-working spaces offers superfast broadband, comfortable seating and booths for private working.

“Attitudes towards renting are changing as more people – especially young professionals and downsizers – choose to rent rather than buy as a lifestyle decision. Residents have everything they need under one roof to work, play and relax, with fantastic amenities such as the gym and a busy calendar of social events. People are looking for high-quality, well managed homes with convenient amenities and in great locations.”

Eddie Kane, Head of Divisional Operations (South), Fresh

Verse residents also have access to exclusive discounts and special offers for local shops, bars and restaurants. For a small additional fee, they can access several services such as a handyman service and apartment cleaning. They can also hire out social spaces for private events.

Residents living at the Verse Build to Rent scheme benefit from being a few minutes’ walk from the popular shopping centre St David’s Dewi Sant, its busy shopping streets, and the array of bars, restaurants and leisure amenities in the area. Cardiff’s two train stations – Cardiff Central and Cardiff Queen Street – are also a short walk from the Verse development. They offer direct services to Swansea, Bristol and London Paddington – and trains reach Cardiff Airport in under an hour.

The Build to Rent development is also within walking distance of many of Cardiff’s famous landmarks – including the iconic Cardiff Bay waterfront, Cardiff Arms Park, and the Principality Stadium.

Fresh has launched the Verse scheme with monthly rents starting at £900 for a studio, £1,250 for a one-bedroom and £1,750 for a two-bedroom apartment.
