FOOTPRINT+, a new UK property event for a zero-carbon future, will gather representatives from every sector of the UK property market to discuss, discover and learn about the latest methods to achieve net zero in real estate.
The event will take place from 7 to 9 June at Hove Lawns, Brighton and Hove. 3,000 attendees will have the opportunity to listen to over 150 speakers across four stages and attend over 100 exhibitions and over 50 fringe events over the course of this three day event.
The exhibition space offers stakeholders and experts the opportunities to meet face-to-face, learn from each other and build the relationships that enable sustainable solutions to be put into practice.
The Lawns of Brighton seafront will be transformed into a meeting ground for developers, local authorities, housing associations, investors and managers of large estates. British Land, Grosvenor, Landsec, Bristol City Council, Oxford City Council, Towers & Hamlins, Hermetica Black, Octopus Energy, CBRE Investment Management and many other leading companies will be represented by their top speakers at the conference.
“We couldn’t do it until now because we didn’t have the technology to make it work. Oil saw us through the Industrial Revolution and facilitated the move from Thomas Hardy to Steve Jobs, but this has come at a price which we can’t afford. Before oil, the best we could manage was windmills, but technology has facilitated almost limitless new possibilities. That’s what FOOTPRINT+ is here to investigate.”
Tim Pyne, Co-Founder, FOOTPRINT+
Together, Tim Pyne, Emily Day and Sophie Law-Smith co-founded FOOTPRINT+. The organisers have used their years of expertise and knowledge of the industry to handpick experts in their respective fields to speak at the event.
The agenda has been divided into four tracks: Efficient Buildings, Retrofit and the Circular Economy, Financing the Revolution and Zero Carbon Energy.
FOOTPRINT+ will offer a number of opportunities for networking, complete with additional meeting spaces for attendees to discuss carbon. Whether it’s evening drinks with Moda Living or Hilson Moran, think tanks from Elliott Wood, Atkins or WSP, breakfast briefings from Bond Bryan and ArcelorMittal or chatting to the exhibitors in the purpose-built pavilions, FOOTPRINT+ is designed to catalyse the relationships required for a net zero future.
“You can come and hear how funding models are developing to ensure projects achieve the best outcomes in terms of carbon and how investors are driving requirements for retrofit and new build through their ESG investment policies.”
