Earlier this month, Peel L&P announced the launch of a new suburban Build to Rent company – Letta – which will provide energy efficient, single-family Build to Rent homes in the North West. Peel L&P’s housebuilder Northstone reveals a first look inside the showhomes and a drop-in ‘Huddle’ space at Glisk, its new sustainable development in Ellesmere Port. The scheme will provide both single-family Build to Rent and for sale homes.
Located off Jack’s Wood Avenue, Glisk will deliver 218 units – a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes with an EPC B rating. Featuring high ceilings, big windows and open-plan interiors, homes will include insulation and triple glazed windows to prevent heat loss; smart tech that recovers heat from wastewater and controls the lighting and heating; and electric vehicle charging points. Homes are set within extensive community green spaces and lush planting.
“It’s fantastic to be throwing open the doors to the design-led homes at Glisk. They’re our first ever properties in Ellesmere Port and Cheshire and we’re on a mission to tackle people’s outdated perceptions of new build homes.
“The properties are not only super energy efficient, they’re beautifully designed, built to a high standard and are packed full of features that make them unlike anything currently on the market. We’ve already got prospective residents lining up to reserve and we’d encourage people to come down to see us and have a look around.”Anita Jolley, Sales Director, Northstone
A look inside Glisk
The Build to Rent homes at Glisk will be provided by Letta and are available to reserve now with move in from November. Homes will be let and managed by Redwing, part of Liverpool-based property company Regenda Group. Glisk is the first scheme to launch following the creating of Peel L&P’s Letta rental company.
“Homes at Glisk are the first of many excellent, high quality and sustainable homes by Letta. They’re not only built to an exceptional standard, but provide flexible living space, natural light and low emissions. There’s no doubt they will be extremely popular in the rental market.”Louise Nicholson, Branch Manager, Redwing
Ellesmere Port is fast becoming a go-to place to live and work. As well as being named in the Government’s recent Growth Plan as a potential Investment Zone, it’s also gaining a reputation as a leader in low carbon industries, with high-quality jobs on its doorstep.
Glisk provides much-needed new homes in the heart of Ellesmere Port. It’s the latest community to be launched by Northstone, who are also delivering new single-family Build to Rent homes in Bolton as part of Letta’s initial 100 home pipeline. The two schemes in Bolton include Silkash which will deliver a total of 150 homes, and Airie delivering a total of 105 homes.
