11 December is National App Day, and an opportunity to celebrate the huge range of benefits that we derive from apps. Whether you want to exercise, meditate, learn a language, communicate or play a game, there’s an app for it. Including one for enhancing your rental experience.

In January 2021, Quintain Living launched the Quintain Living Resident App. A staggering 88% of residents have downloaded the app – with 640 residents (as at November 2021) using it daily to take advantage of its wide range of functions.

“Renting is about so much more than your own four walls – it’s about the total experience. These days, that means embracing technology to make renting easier. That’s why we rolled so many different features and functions into the Resident App, all of which enhance the Quintain Living rental experience.”

The Quintain Living Resident App allows residents to manage their leases, including accessing a payment summary and details of their Assured Shorthold Tenancy. The app also provides building updates, so residents can keep up to speed with the latest developments. On a practical level, residents can use the app to set up their Wi-Fi, book each building’s social spaces and guest parking.

Then there are the community features. Residents can use the app to reserve a space at a wide range of events, from art club sessions and ‘Paint & Prosecco’ evenings to dance sessions with Strictly Come Dancing’s Neil Jones (himself a Quintain Living resident) , who recently launched Winterfest 2021, and workshops on Mastering Mental Health with international speaker and coach Rob Wall, who provided a free session to support Quintain Living’s residents – to mark World Mental Health Day.

A number of private groups created by residents on the app have also proven popular. The book club has 1,345 members, while the extremely active ‘Buy, Sell, Swap’ group has almost 600. There’s also a parent and baby group, a film club with 2,496 members, and many more opportunities for residents to connect with other community members who share their interests.

Local companies have also joined in, providing a range of exclusive offers and discounts to Quintain Living residents via the app. Offers and perks cover retail, services, entertainment, health and beauty and food and drink outlets in Wembley Park.

“Between LDO, independent retailers, London’s largest Boxpark, local markets, the Troubadour Theatre, Wembley Stadium and The SSE Arena, Wembley, there’s an incredible amount to do in Wembley Park! We’re delighted that so many local retailers have got on board with providing discounts and special offers for the local community. It’s one of many factors that contributes to the very neighbourly feel of the area.”
