Developer, Court Collaboration announces it has appointed a new Commercial Director – who joins from Balfour Beatty.

Specialist residential developer – Court Collaboration – has appointed a new Commercial Director – Thomas Taylor.

Tom studied law at The University of Leicester and Birmingham’s University of Law, and is a practicing Solicitor. Thomas joins from Balfour Beatty, where he led the legal team for the core construction services business for England and Wales. Prior to that, Tom worked in Eversheds’ Birmingham office for nine years, specialising in substantial development projects in the residential, retail, education and healthcare sectors.

As Commercial Director at Court Collaboration, Tom’s role will benefit every aspect of the business – from site acquisition and funding to pre-construction and delivery, through to completion and aftercare.

Court Collaboration is a specialist residential developer based in Birmingham. Established in 2010, the company owns and manages over £1bn of residential real estate developments across the West Midlands and throughout the UK.

The developer is also committed towards creating transformational developments which support local communities and economies. As of April 2021, Court Collaboration have 15 active developments across Birmingham, Leeds, Sutton Coldfield and Wolverhampton, with circa 7,000 residential units on site or at planning stages with more to follow. Court Collaboration have received planning approval for Stone Yard and One Eastside and New Garden Square Build to Rent schemes in Birmingham.

In January 2021, Court Collaboration was named Residential Developer of the Year at Insider’s annual West Midlands Property Awards. The company was also crowned Property and Construction Business of the Year 2021 at the Birmingham Post Business Awards.
