Developer Comer Homes releases the first phase of apartments at its flagship Surrey Build to Rent scheme, Whyteleafe House. The development includes 167 new homes – a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Residents also benefit from a range of amenities including a state-of-the-art private gym, an in-house hotel style lobby and a 24-hour concierge service. There is also 115 private car parking spaces and 20 motorcycle bays.

The Whyteleafe House development is in the popular village of Whyteleafe, set within the Surrey North Downs. Residents benefit from an easy commute into central London, with three train stations – Whyteleafe, Upper Warlingham and South Whyteleafe – connecting directly to London Bridge or London Victoria stations in under 30 minutes.

Residents also benefit from being close to the beautiful countryside. Whyteleafe has some beautiful country walks and green spaces nearby, and there is also a good selection of golf courses such as Woldingham Golf Club and the North Down Golf Club.

Whyteleafe is located less than a 10-minute drive away from nearby town Kenley, the base of RAF Kenley airfield which was used as a strategic airfield in the Battle of Britain. This is now the UK’s most complete airfield surviving the Battle of Britain.

Residents at Whyteleafe House are also nearby to Kenley Common – 138 acres of green open space surrounding the airfield. The common has connections back to the First World War where planes were assembled and tested for the French air force. There is still evidence of the war on the common including the old blast bays, air raid shelters, officer’s mess and the original runways.

“Whyteleafe House is an exciting addition to Comer’s Build to Rent portfolio and a scheme we believe will be hugely popular. At all our schemes, we strive to deliver well-considered homes that benefit from good locations and excellent facilities. This is the perfect combination for rental schemes, and we believe this will attract a wide range of tenants.”

Caroline Comer, Sales & Marketing Director at Comer Homes

Apartments at Whyteleafe House start from £861 for a one-bedroom apartment and £1,051 for a two-bedroom apartment.
