Developer and investor BPG has appointed Knight Frank to seek a funding partner for new Birmingham Build to Rent development Oasis.

Located in Birmingham city centre, the BPG Build to Rent development is a rare, wholly private scheme that has an investment opportunity for offer that aims to create a 456-unit, 11-storey development in the heart and hub of the West Midlands city.

Having worked together for over 20 years on other developments in and around Birmingham, Knight Frank is seeking to dispose of the opportunity on behalf of BPG via a forward fund for £112.5m.

The Oasis development will comprise 178 one-bedroom apartments, 268 two-bedroom apartment, and 10 duplex apartments. The scheme also offers two commercial units on the upper ground floor, spanning 5,207 sq ft NIA.

“Birmingham Southside is currently undergoing a huge amount of exciting regeneration and redevelopment, which is totally transforming this part of the city centre. Oasis will deliver an additional 456 purpose-built and professionally managed rental homes for Birmingham, which are highly sought-after yet significantly undersupplied, especially in the city centre.”

The Build to Rent development site can be found on Gooch Street North, a popular area that combines the attraction and convenience that city life has to offer, making the scheme a worthy investment.

“The scheme’s attractive location provides prospective tenants with extremely convenient access to Birmingham’s major employment, transport and amenity hubs, which will no doubt contribute towards very strong occupancy levels once built and complete.”
