Property investment firm Beech Holdings announces that it has appointed Neil Baumber as its new Development Director. Neil joins the team after eight and a half years as Director of Development – Residential at Peel L&P.
Neil helped deliver a pipeline of c.6,000 mixed-tenure homes, developed joint ventures, and negotiated land sales in his previous role – experience he will be bringing with him to Beech Holdings. Neil was also integral to launching a Build to Rent platform for Institutions at Peel L&P.
“This was a huge decision to move, having enjoyed working with the Peel team to drive Peel’s residential ambitions forward, but right from my initial chat with Stephen I felt excited about this opportunity. Beech’s ambitions are admirable, and I immediately felt my experience could support these goals. I’ve always respected family run businesses and I see and admire those qualities at Beech; the values of the business are clearly embedded in every part of the organisation. I hope to support Beech to generate a national platform, not only because the delivered schemes are exceptional, but the ongoing commitment to the communities Beech builds is something that should be replicated up and down the country.”

With a Build to Rent pipeline of over 1,000 units across the North of England and additional new sites in negotiations, Neil will be integral to bringing assets to completion in his new role.
With over 20 years’ experience in the property sector, Neil is excited to drive Beech Holdings’ Build to Rent and City Co-Living product offerings alongside the growing team.
“Neil brings a wealth of experience from working across huge residential schemes up and down the country. His excitement and enthusiasm for our vision and values were clear from the start. Neil can see how our City Co-Living brand is an exciting prospect for any young person living in an urban area today. He joins me in believing it can offer a quality solution to what is a housing crisis in cities up and down our country. We’re very excited that he’s joined our team and can already see what an asset he will be.”
