Plans have been revealed for a new Build to Rent scheme – the Baseworks – in the Rumney area on the outskirts of the city centre. This will be the first Build to Rent scheme from the developer – PropertyIndex – who have also released CGI’s of the scheme.
The Baseworks scheme is located at 599 Newport Road, Rumney in Cardiff. Baseworks will include 32 apartments – each with smart home technology and a car space in the rear gated parking area.
There will also be facilities such as cleaning, ironing and more. Aberdare Demolition is demolishing the current buildings to clear the site, so the first phase of the 18 apartments can begin to be built this month.
The Build to Rent scheme will be available for rent for value for money, so residents can focus on their lifestyles as well as progress with their savings, making the scheme a gateway to their next stage of life.
