Interior design collective Accouter Group of Companies (AGC) has announced a significant milestone in its partnership with the British Red Cross.

In 2023, through the sale of donated furniture, AGC contributed £23,000 to support the vital humanitarian work that the charity carries out. Since becoming a B Corp, the achievement further reflects AGC’s dedication to social responsibility and sustainability.

“I truly hope that our partnership can continue long into the future.”

Mark Dawson, Regional Retail Manager, British Red Cross

Over 20 million pieces of furniture are discarded each year in the UK. Alongside its monetary contributions, AGC continuously donates furniture that has reached the end of its life cycle to help minimise waste and promote upcycling. By diverting furniture from landfills and giving it a second life, the company is attempting to set an example that it hopes the industry will follow.

AGC also donates 2% of its profits annually to three different charities, including the British Red Cross and two nominated by the team. This aids in its mission to provide essential assistance to those in need, both locally and globally.
