Allsop has announced two promotions within its Letting and Management team (ALM) – Matthew Smith and Kelly Smith, both to director level. The news comes after a successful year for the agency and the recent appointment of ALM to manage Vox – another new Build to Rent scheme in Manchester.
Matthew, as Head of Asset Management on-boards client’s investments, creates strategies for portfolios and mobilises Build to Rent assets for key clients such as Moorfield and Barings. Moving from LIV Group, Matthew joined Allsop in January 2018 where he was Head of PRS Mobilisation. His extensive experience in the PRS and Build to Rent sectors has enabled him to successfully manage numerous sites across the UK.
Kelly joined Allsop in November 2017 as Head of Operations for ALM. She oversees the smooth delivery of Allsop’s services for customers and clients alike. Kelly is also a committee member of both the British Property Foundation (BPF) and the UK Apartment Association (UKAA) – providing her with ample network affiliations within the wider property industry.

Allsop now has five large Build to Rent schemes within its management portfolio: The Trilogy, Duet and Vox in Manchester, The Keel in Liverpool which is undergoing a refurbishment and The Forge in Newcastle.
In addition to 1,300 Build to Rent apartments under management, Allsop manages a further 2,700 residential properties across the UK and has a committed pipeline of a further 1,700 Build to Rent apartments coming online in 2021/22.
