BTR News Build to Rent (BTR)

Wise Living receive further £100m funding

Following a £33m funding round, Wise Living receive a further £100m boost.

Wise Living have received an additional £100m funding from investment manager Triple Point. The boost will help deliver thousands of Build to Rent (BTR) properties for families across the country.

Wise Living are currently in talks with multiple developer partners, and they will boost their work with existing partners on a pipeline of BTR schemes across the UK.

Wise Living put tenants at the heart of what they do – and they continue to challenge standards set in the private rental sector (PRS), making them the provider of choice for local authorities, developers and tenants across the country.  They’re focusing on providing two and three-bedroom BTR family homes that provide an alternative option for renters.

Andy Deller, Director, Wise Living, said: “To receive a further £100 million investment from Triple Point so soon after our £33 million boost is a major vote of confidence in the quality of our work as a partner to both developers and investors.”

AMA Research reveals a rising demand for professionally managed accommodation across the country. Wise Living aim to lead in improving the standards in the PRS. They’re part of the SDL Group, which was recently named the fastest growing business in Nottinghamshire – also known as Nottingham Post Company of the year.

Andy Deller, continues: “Compared to this time last year, the amount of BTR homes completed, under construction or in planning across the UK has increased by 20%. This additional funding will help us to move up another gear with our plans to not just build homes and communities but provide for the increasing demand for professionally managed PRS homes, particularly for families.”
